Recast Studio allows you to edit your videos using text. But sometimes, even a millisecond makes the difference.

How to trim/cut a part of the video/audio?

• Click on the trim button at the bottom right corner.
• It will open the waveform timeline.
• Use the slider to zoom in on the waveform to create precise cuts.
• Click on the Clip/cut switch to enable the range selector.
• Drag and draw the region on the audio waveform to cut or clip the selected region

That’s it. Play to preview your changes and make the necessary changes.

<aside> 💡 To undo a trim/cut, hover on the red brackets and click on the undo button to revert your changes.
